JOB TITLE: EcoSystem EDI Technician
DEPARTMENT: Professional Services
REPORTS TO: Ecosystem & Database Integrity Manager
FLSA STATUS: Non-exempt

JOB SUMMARY / DESCRIPTION: The EcoSystem EDI Technician is responsible for overseeing the pro-cesses related to the Ecosystem Product Suite Account setups (UPD, Gateway, & EcoPortal) and for assist-ing with support for these products. Responsibilities may also include assignments given by the Ecosystem and Database Manager, and the Director or VP of Professional Services.

GOAL/OBJECTIVE: To manage the customer and vendor experiences related to onboarding and account setup of the ECRS Ecosystem Product Suite, which includes a proprietary EDI software component connect-ing retailers to suppliers. This will be done by looking for ways to improve the onboarding process for both retailers and trading partners, to achieve a faster turnaround time during the setup process. Will also inform Ecosystem Team of ticket issues that require KB updates and/or creations.


  • Responsible for creating Gateway Dashboard Credentials for all new and existing Gateway Users, upon request
  • Oversees the management of the Online Gateway Collection Forms received from Gateway Users, via the Ecosystem Team Online Gateway Collection Form folders and database build team
  • Oversees the management of the EDI Confirmations received from Gateway Suppliers, via the Eco-system Team EDI Confirmation folders
  • Responsible for installation of Gateway software for existing retailers adding the module and assisting deployment team as needed for new contract installation of Gateway
  • Responsible for setting up Gateway Users that request additional Gateway modules
  • Responsible for onboarding of new suppliers requesting EDI connection, including map creation, test-ing, internal documentation, and marketing release of new trading partners
  • Responsible for testing, maintaining, and upgrading the maps and trading partnerships
  • Maintains accurate and current metrics that tracks Gateway Account setups, updates, and deletions
  • Assists Ecosystem Team with Ecosystem (Gateway, UPD, EcoPortal) support issues
  • Performs other related tasks assigned by the EcoSystem and Database Integrity Manager


  • Bachelor's degree in computer information systems and a Supply Chain background
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with flexibility to meet changing needs
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity with EDI standards
  • Strong personal desire to produce high quality work
  • Strong communication skills
